healthy body and
mind. The first part of the class will be a yoga session with registered
yoga instructor Yojaida
Estrella. Learn how practicing
the asanas can harness inner strength and well being. The practice
will be followed by holistic nutritional information. Seeing that
beach weather is upon up, tonight's class will concentrate on some healthy
and natural ways to burn fat. Please wear comfortable clothes that
allow movement. We have some yoga mats available for students to
borrow but it's recommended that you bring your own mat if possible.

progressive four week course will introduce you to several ballroom dances
so you're sure to feel confident on the dance floor the day of your wedding.

The Ultimate Salsa/Mambo
Timing Workshop

Do you need help with
your salsa timing? Confused about how to dance "On1" or “On 2”? Can’t hear the
"1" beat? The“2” beat? Or any beat?
Learn the most effective and efficient way to find the beat and stay with it!
Part 1 of the Timing Workshop introduces the 3 Core Principles of
4/4 timing, Tempo and Phrasing. We will be working with ear training exercises
to properly establish tempo and find the 8 beat phrase through rhythmic pattern
recognition. Students will also learn how the basic steps align to the 8 beat
structure.
Part 2 is all about “Execution" – the 4th Core Principle. This is
more of a “hands-on” dance workshop. We teach and drill execution
tips for common places where people tend to lose their timing. Students should
at least be familiar with the basic step, cross body lead, simple turns.
There will be a custom evaluation for each student.
We will dance with each student to impart the "feeling" of dancing On1
and On2 as
well as to evaluate each student’s strengths and weaknesses!
